Whine of the Week

"When does my honeymoon period start? I had big victory."

-- Rand Paul (R), in an interview with ABC News.

This politics thing can get hard when people actually listen to what you say outside your own little echo chamber.

Fred Barnes - hard to take serious anymore

Compare this:

His faith, **** said, "frees me. Frees me to make the decisions that others might not like. Frees me to try to do the right thing, even though it may not poll well. Frees me to enjoy life and not worry about what comes next."
With this:
President Reagan had a sign on his desk that said, "It's amazing how much you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit." If President **** had a sign, it would say, "It's amazing how much you can accomplish if you don't care what the public thinks."
You'd almost think they were written about the same person, except the first is a glowing portrayal of the President whose policies, while unpopular, he liked, the other the President who policies he doesn't

As they say, consistency is a rather nasty hobgoblin.
